McLean, Va — September 1, 2013 — Novetta, under eXit 400: Media Forensics and Protection, has developed three tools to assist its customers in understanding the nature of unknown video content and recognize threats. First, Novetta’s big data Audio Analytics tool focuses on quickly understanding the audio components of vast amounts of video. The Audio Analytics tool is optimized to correlate across large audio libraries to find duplicate samples, and can identify the samples which contain the highest–quality audio tracks. It processes audio tracks from a video at the bit–level, segmenting the tracks to enhance routing and processing. The tool also performs post–processing for signal enhancement. Customers may use the tool to quickly determine if a given audio track is new or has been previously analyzed. Customers may also use the tool to classify the audio as music or various types of speech. Novetta’s Audio Analytics tool can support multiple file formats. Novetta’s Image Analytics tool focuses on allowing customers to quickly identify inconsistencies in video images. It examines video images at the bit–level, identifies advanced metadata and structure traits, and provides analysts with feedback on deviations from norms. The Image Analytics tool is optimized for high–speed processing of vast amounts of video data and supports multiple file formats. The tool may be integrated with Novetta’s modified off–the–shelf facial recognition technology.
