Novetta grants the 10^27 Award to recognize excellence in IRAD execution and delivery. Our latest group of recipients developed important, innovative capabilities in support of customer missions.
10^27 Award recipients:
Lara Dedic, Kyle O’Brien, Michelle Rybak, and Michelle Jou
Lara conceived and led development Syntax Agnostic Code Similarity (SACS), a cyber defense tool that allows developers to detect multiple pieces of code that have similar functionality, regardless of how the code was written or compiled. Developed within the Machine Learning Center of Excellence, SACS is being transitioned to support cyber missions. SACS was selected for presentation at the JAIC Solutions Meeting and will be presented at FloCon 2020, illustrating Novetta thought leadership in advanced cyber analytics.
Kyle, Michelle, and Michelle created GAN-Based Portrait Synthesis, an advanced identity capability that generates controlled, frontal synthetic faces. Working from advanced deep learning libraries, the team implemented a “latent space” approach that allows an analyst to create customized faces tuned across dozens of parameters and capture conditions. GAN-Based Portrait Synthesis is already being applied to challenging customer requirements.
Expect more 10^27 announcements in the near future – we’re working on several exciting IRAD capabilities in NLP, cyber analytics, and IoT technologies that we think will significantly impact customer missions.
